6 SGI Octane2 workstations (available by July, 2001) with 400 MHz R12000A 64-bit MIPS processor running the IRIX Unix 6.5 operating system. 512 MB RAM, 64 KB primary cache, 2 MB level 2 secondary cache, 45 GB hard drive, V6 graphics resolution, 21ââ flat monitor.

Prep Room:

1 Dell 620 PC workstation with Pentium III 800 MHz processor, 768 MB RAM, 34 GB hard disk, running Windows NT 4.0 operating system

1 O2 SGI workstation 300 MHz R10000 32-bit MIPS processor, 256 MB RAM, 32 KB primary cache, 1 MB level 2 secondary cache, 9 GB hard drive, V6 graphics resolution, running the IRIX Unix 6.5 operating system

Server Closet:

1 Dell PowerEdge 4400 server with two Intel Xeon processors, 1.58 GB RAM, 100 GB hard disk, running Windows NT 4.0 Server operating system
